Interesting to read of a more "romcom" approach to the end of My Fair Lady. I saw the 2022 production in the West End when Amara Okereke's Eliza virtually stormed off the stage leaving Higgins in no doubt where he could put his slippers! It was good to see Ms. Okereke feature in The Choral recently - another excellent performance.
I had the good fortune to be part of a production by Pinner Players in 2014 as a very mature Valentine and it was one of the most enjoyable shows in which I've ever taken part.
Oh, that is cheeky! I was in a horrible mood the day of the ETT Macbeth and might have been a bit more mellow towards it otherwise, though I still don't think I would have particularly liked it!

I enjoyed Choral too and was glad to see Amara O in it!
I’ve seen 3 different productions of “Arcadia” — it’s a Stoppard must! His last I saw was “The Hard Problem” at the National. RIP to a true genius.
I wish I coulda seen this MFL with you! Sounds divine.
Agree - Arcadia is superb.

"Sex. Pigeons. Literature!"
I will do my best to see Arcadia at the Old Vic in 2026. Wish we could go together xx
From the looks of that Mill at Sonning instagram post, they rounded my 4 ½ stars up to a full five - naughty!
I definitely liked the ETT Macbeth more than you did, but I can see how the swings it took that appealed to me would have been big misses for others.
